JALAPENO CORNBREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. bacon drippings
1 c. whole kernel corn
1 lg. jalapeno pepper, chopped
3 tbsp. chopped pimiento

Combine all ingredients; mixing well. Pour batter into a greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
