BEAN MAC & CHEESE CASSEROLE 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. diced green pepper
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. butter
1 can (16 oz.) Campbell's pork & beans
3 c. cooked elbow macaroni
2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
Green pepper rings

In saucepan, cook onion and green pepper with chili in butter until tender. In 1 1/2 quart casserole, combine onion mixture with beans, macaroni, cheese, milk and salt. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot. Garnish with pepper rings. Serves 4. Serve with tossed salad or cottage cheese, applesauce and warm bread.
