CANDY APPLES 
6 c. sugar
3 c. water
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Oil of cinnamon
Red food coloring
Sticks
Apples

Boil to 290 degrees (stir just until sugar is dissolved). Add oil of cinnamon and red food coloring.

Wash apple. Insert stick. Dip apple in sauce. Cool on buttered wax paper.
