PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. peanut butter
Baked pie shell

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites, room temperature
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
6 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla (clear)

Mix sugar and flour - cream in egg yolks. Slowly stir in milk. Add butter and peanut butter. Cook over medium heat until thick - stir constantly. Pour into baked pie shell.

For meringue - add cream of tartar to egg whites and whip until frothy. continue whipping and slowly add 6 tablespoons sugar until stiff peaks form. Add vanilla and mix well. Pour over pie and brown under broiler until golden. Refrigerate.
