1 chicken, cut in pieces
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 c. Bisquick
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 tsp. butter
2 c. hot water

Mix Bisquick, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well. Coat chicken with dry mixture. Place in 3 quart casserole dish (9 x 13 inches). Dot with butter. Mix together dry onion soup mix and hot water. Pour over chicken. Cover the casserole and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. (As the chicken bakes, it makes its own onion gravy.) This is delicious served with rice or mashed potatoes.
