MIKE'S MACARONI AND CHEESE ALA
ITALIANO
 
1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
6 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
3 c. Cracker Barrel Sharp Cheese, grated
3/4 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated

Cook macaroni according to package, use salt in cooking water (a lot).

Cook until medium soft (do not overcook). Drain. Place in oblong baking dish. Put butter in milk and microwave until butter is melted and milk is warm. Pour over macaroni. Dust flour and seasonings over top of mixture. Add cheeses and mix in thoroughly. Dot top with butter.

Bake at 350°F for 35 - 40 minutes or until top is brown and crusty. Leftovers are great.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
