DILLED OKRA PICKLES 
3 lbs. young okra, 2" to 2 1/2" long
Celery leaves
Garlic cloves
Large dill or 1/2 tsp. seeds
1 qt. water
1 pt. white vinegar
1/2 c. salt
1 slice hot pepper

Pack scrubbed okra in pint jars (do not cut off stems). In each jar, lay several celery leaves, piece of garlic, slice of pepper and dill. Combine water, vinegar, salt in pan and bring to a boil. Pour over okra and seal immediately. Let stand at least three weeks.
