SINFUL APPLE PIE 
1 box Pillsbury ready-to-use pie crust
3 1/2 c. tart apples (Mcintosh are best)
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 c. heavy cream(use half & half for a less-rich taste)
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Core and slice apples, leaving the skin on. Mix all ingredients except cloves, turn into 9 inch crust-lined pie dish. Sprinkle cloves on top of filling, then put on top crust. Slit crust in several places. Wrap 2 inch strip of tinfoil around crust edges. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees, or until top crust is golden-brown. Remove tinfoil for last 15 minutes of baking.
