CORN BEEF AND CABBAGE 
Buy a piece of good corn beef brisket. Boil slowly for 3 or 4 hours or until tender. Remove and place in baking pan, fat side up.

Take 1 cup brown sugar and add enough prepared mustard to make a paste. Cover fat side of corned beef and bake in 350 degree oven until golden brown. Watch closely so not to burn.

In broth, boil enough potatoes and cabbage for family. Leave cabbage on core so it doesn't fall apart. Remove with slotted spoon.
