SHRIMP, CRABMEAT OR LOBSTER
CASSEROLE
 
2 cans shrimp
Soda crackers (about 2 1/2 stacks)
Butter
Milk (about 1 qt.)
Salt and pepper

Butter at 3 quart casserole dish. Put in a layer of soda cracker crumbs (crushed by hand) next a layer of shrimp (1 can). Sprinkle with pepper and salt if desired, then dot with butter. Continue with another layer of crushed soda crackers. Another can of shrimp, salt, pepper and butter. Now put another layer of cracker crumbs and dot with butter. Add milk until you can see it through the layers but not completely covering the top. It usually takes about a quart of milk. Bake in a 400 degree oven, 25 to 30 minutes, until mixture is golden brown on top and all milk is absorbed.
