CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. softened butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (4 serving) Jello vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts, any kind (optional)

In bowl, mix flour and soda together. Then combine butter, sugar, vanilla and the pudding mix in a large mixing bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in the eggs. Add gradually the flour mixture and stir with wooden spoon. Then stir in chips and nuts. The batter will be stiff. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased sheet pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 7 dozen cookies.
