LAYERED SALAD 
1 head of lettuce, torn up
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 onion (sm.), diced
10 oz. frozen peas, thawed
2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise mixed with 2 tbsp. white sugar
14 oz. pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
6-8 strips of bacon, fried and crumbled
Salt

Layer all ingredients and refrigerate (covered) overnight. Toss before serving. Note: Smaller amount of peas may be used.
