CRUMB CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
1 c. milk (sour)
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. cocoa (optional)

Mix sugar, shortening (Spry), cinnamon, flour and nuts. Take out 1/2 cup for topping. Mix the remaining ingredients with the rest of mix. Put in greased and floured pan.

Bake at 350°F for about 30 to 45 minutes.

Serves 10.
