TACO CASSEROLE | |
10 taco shells, coarsely broken 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. dried minced onion 8 oz. can tomato sauce 2 c. grated cheese 1 lg. tomato, cut into wedges 6 stuffed green olives, sliced in mild taco sauce Place 1/2 taco shells in lightly greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Brown beef and drain. Add taco mix and water. Simmer, uncovered 10 minutes. Stir in onion and tomato sauce. Spoon over taco shells. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cup cheese, rest of taco shells and remaining cheese. Top with tomato wedges and olives. Bake at 350 degrees 25 to 35 minutes or until hot. Can pour taco sauce over casserole before heating. |
