PEANUT BUTTER - CHOCOLATE CHIP

2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease the bottom only of 13 x 9 inch baking pan.

In a large mixer bowl combine first 4 ingredients. Blend at low speed until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup. Add remaining ingredients to crumb mixture in mixing bowl. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup reserved crumbs. Sprinkle chocolate pieces over crumbs. Bake for 35-40 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
