GLAZED CARROTS 
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. cold water
1/4 c. Karo dark corn syrup
1 tbsp. cinnamon or ginger
1 lb. carrots, peeled and sliced
1 tbsp. butter

In 1 1/2-quart microproof baking dish, stir cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir in corn, syrup, butter and spice. Add carrots; toss to coat well. Cover. Microwave at High 6 to 9 minutes. Stir after 3 minutes; let stand 2 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
