2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour, plain
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. pecans

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs all at once and vanilla. Blend in flour and cocoa. Fold in pecan halves chopped in large pieces. Pour ingredients into greased rectangular pan. Bake at 350 degrees in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
