HOME MADE CHILI BEANS | |
1 lb. ground beef (extra lean) 1 med. onion, chopped 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can onion soup 1 c. dried red kidney beans or pinto beans 4 c. water 3 tbsp. chili powder 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. sugar 3/4 tsp. Tabasco Pepper Sauce (or a little more if you want it to be hotter) Brown beef and onion in skillet. Place beef mixture and remaining ingredients in slow-cooker. Mix well. Cover. Cook on high 8-10 hours. Serves 4-6. |
