EASY PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1/4 c. reduced fat melted butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
20 oz. can undrained pineapple rings
5 cherries, drained and halved
1 box yellow cake mix
3 beaten eggs
1/3 c. vegetable oil

Mix butter with brown sugar and spread over the bottom of a well greased springform pan. Arrange pineapple slices over brown sugar mixture; reserve pineapple juice. Place a cherry half in the center of each pineapple slice. Add enough water to the pineapple juice to make 1 1/3 c. liquid. Mix this with the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Pour this over pineapples and bake at 350°F for 40 minutes. Let cake cool completely, then remove springform pan and serve cake slices with cool whip.
