HARRIET'S CHEESE CAKE 
2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
6 tbsp. butter
3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
5 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice

TOPPING:

1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Mix crumbs with butter and press into a 10 inch glass pie pan. Beat egg yolks with cheese. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into egg and cheese mixture. Pour into crust. Bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees.

For topping, mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Pour over top of warm cake. Bake 5 minutes at 475 degrees. Cool to room temperature and chill for 24 hours.
