1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. hot water
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. oil
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
2 pinches salt

Boil raisins in hot water. Let cool and add soda. Blend in sugar, oil, and eggs. Add flour mixture and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
