BEVERLY'S POPCORN BALLS 
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. light corn syrup
2/3 c. water
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 qt. popped corn

Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, butter and salt in a saucepan. Cook until mixture is brittle when tested in cold water. Add vanilla. Pour in a fine stream over popcorn, tossing lightly with a large fork to coat evenly. Grease finger tips. Shape mixture into balls, pressing popcorn together very lightly.

Yield about 3 dozen balls.

I made these popcorn balls for Halloween. They were GREAT! Everyone loved them. i made them kind of on the big side i guess because only 15 turned out.. BUT THEY WERE YUMMYYY!

Beverly... I think I can do this!!!! Thank you! My father is dying and all he wants is popcorn balls! I can't find them anywhere! I have been searching all over in stores (like walmart) I would go to a specialty shop but I live in a rural town and would have to drive 80 miles. So... Thank you much!!!!!! Sue

Wonderful easy recipe! A little advice: unless you are an expert popcorn popper buy already popped corn from the grocery store! No old maids!
