1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. catsup
2 tbsp. finely chopped onions
5 tbsp. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients. Use to marinate chuck steak or other steak before grilling. Use also to baste while cooking. This is very good for chuck roast. If you marinate overnight, meat will be very tender.
