GRANDMA JO'S PANCAKES 
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. melted butter

Start by mixing all wet ingredients, then gradually add dry ingredients. Oil skillet or griddle, and scoop batter onto hot surface. You will know it is time to flip pancakes when the tops appear almost dry. Serve with syrup or fruit preserves.
