CHEF'S GRILLED STEAK 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. salad oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1 clove garlic, minced
2 1/2 lbs. chuck steak, 1/2 inch thick

Combine all ingredients except steak. Marinate steak in mixture 3 hours or more, turning several times. Broil 4 inches from heat 15 minutes. Turn, broil 15 minutes more. Baste with marinade during broiling. Makes 4 servings.

NOTE: Alternate: 2 1/2 inch thick chuck roast broiled 20-25 minutes per side to taste. This could marinate almost a week; the longer the better.
