CHEESECAKE BROWNIES 
TOPPING:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp. softened butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

BROWNIES:

4 oz. semi sweet chocolate squares
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 inch square pan. Combine topping ingredients and set aside. Melt 4 oz. chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and cool. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs (one at a time). Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir just until blended.

Pour into pan. Pour topping over batter. Bake 40 to 50 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Melt 1 oz. chocolate and 2 teaspoons butter until smooth and drizzle over the top. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before cutting into squares.
