RANGER COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. p. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut

Cream the first 5 ingredients together well. Then mix in the next 4 ingredients. With a wooden spoon, mix in by hand the last 3 ingredients. Make balls the size of a walnut and press. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
