CURRIED RICE AND ONIONS 
2 tbsp. butter
2 sm. onions, sliced 1/4-inch thick
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg or mace
2 c. cooked rice
1/2 c. half-and-half

In medium saucepan over low heat, in hot butter, cook onions, curry, salt and nutmeg, stirring often, until onions are golden, about 7 minutes. Stir in rice and half-and-half; heat. Makes 4 servings.
