NABISCO TORTE (WITH RASPBERRIES
OR PEACHES)
 
1/2 lb. Nabisco wafers (NOT Nilla wafers)
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
2 egg yolks
1 qt. raspberries or 6 slices peaches
1 c. whipping cream (1 pkg. Dream Whip)

Crush Nabisco wafers. Put 1/2 in 8 x 8 inch buttered pan. Combine butter, powdered sugar, and egg yolks in small bowl and pour (spread) over crumbs in pan. Layer raspberries or peaches over butter layer. Cover fruit with whipped cream. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Keep refrigerated. (Recipe can be easily doubled and made in a 9 x 13 inch pan). Serves 9.
