JANET'S KOLACHE 
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 lg. yeast, crumbled
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 c. butter
6 egg yolks

FILLING:

6 egg whites
1 lb. walnuts, ground
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites until stiff, then fold in sugar, nuts and vanilla. Set aside.

Combine flour, sugar and yeast. Cut in butter as for pie dough. Combine milk and egg yolks and add to above mixture. Mix well, until dough draws away from bowl. Divide into 3 parts. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Divide 1 part of dough into 2 (makes 2 nut rolls) and roll out on floured surface to rectangle 1/8" thick. Spread with nut filling, and roll like jelly rolls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
