NANA'S SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 med. can V-8 juice
1/2 can water
12 ginger snaps
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice
2 lbs. hamburger
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
Garlic and onion powder to taste
1/3 c. ketchup

Bring first 5 ingredients to a soft boil in a Dutch oven. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Shape into medium size balls and put into sauce. Reduce heat, simmer for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serve over wide egg noodles, pasta or baked potatoes.
