PEACH PAN DOWDY | |
6-8 fresh peaches, cut in half 1/3 c. sugar Dab of butter on each peach 1/2 c. water 1 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking powder 1 egg Place peach halves in 6 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch baking pan, butter on each half. Pour 1/3 cup sugar over peaches, then pour water over all. Mix dry ingredients and cut in unbeaten egg with a knife and sprinkle over peaches. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
