CHICKEN & RICE 
1 family pack of chicken thighs or breasts
2 tbsp. garlic powder
1 c. butter, melted
2 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. instant rice
1 1/2 c. water

You may bake chicken or use stove top method.

FOR BAKING: Place chicken in baking pan; pour butter over. Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper. Let bake until golden brown, spooning butter and juices of chicken occasionally.

STOVE TOP: Place chicken in large skillet. Pour butter over and sprinkle garlic, pepper and salt, turning occasionally.

FOR BOTH METHODS: When chicken is done, remove chicken and drain juice into skillet. Add rice and water and cook until rice is tender. You may have to salt and pepper rice again to taste.
