PEANUT BRITTLE 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda

Cook first four ingredients until soft ball forms in cold water. Add 2 cups raw peanuts. Cook until honey colored. Quickly add the next four ingredients. Stirring constantly. When thoroughly mixed pour out on heavily buttered cookie and shake until it has spread out as thin as possible. Do not spread with spoon. Let cool, then break in pieces.
