1/2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 sm. pkg. fruit flavored gelatin (any flavor)
Peanuts
9 c. popped popcorn

Combine sugar and syrup in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add gelatin. Use orange flavored gelatin for Halloween treats. Add food coloring for prettier color. Stir until completely dissolved. Bring again to a boil. Add peanuts, if desired. Pour over popcorn. Stir until all popcorn is coated. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Makes about 4 dozen. Store in tightly covered container.
