RUM BALLS 
6 oz. pkg. semi sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. rum
2 1/2 c. finely chopped vanilla wafers
1 c. fine chopped pecans or walnuts
Powdered sugar

Melt chocolate morsels in microwave. Remove and stir in sugar and syrup. Blend in rum. Combine wafers and nuts, add to chocolate mixture and blend well. Form into 1 inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Let ripen in a covered container for several days. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
