HEARTY SAUSAGE SOUP 
1/2 lb. cooked pasta (any sm. shape--elbows, nuggets, etc.)
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. cut-up smoked sausage (like Hillshire Farms)
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 chopped onion
2 c. sliced celery
2 c. sliced mushrooms
2 med. carrots, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced

Combine all above ingredients except pasta. Cook until sausage browned. Stir in: 1 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. marjoram 1/8 tsp. black pepper 4 c. water A few dashes of crushed red pepper (optional)

Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 20 minutes. Stir in cooked pasta. Heat through.
