STIR - FRIED VEGETABLES 
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. sugar
4 c. sm. cauliflowerets
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/3 c. sliced green onions (tops too)
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1 tbsp. butter

VARIATIONS: Substitute 1 pound fresh asparagus, cleaned and cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces or 4 cups fresh broccoli flowerets for the cauliflower.

Combine soy sauce, cornstarch and sugar in medium bowl. Stir in vegetables and almonds. let stand while preheating browning dish. Preheat browning dish at high for 3 minutes. Add butter and tilt dish to coat bottom. Stir in vegetable mixture; cover. Microwave at high for 6-9 minutes or until cauliflower is tender-crisp, stirring after half the time.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
