TOMATO PUDDING 
1 stick butter
1 c. light brown sugar
2 c. bread cubes
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato puree
1/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt

Melt butter; pour over cubes and toss. Heat puree with water; add salt and sugar. Simmer about 5 minutes.

Pour mixture over cubes; toss and put in casserole. Bake covered for 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Serves 8.
