ALBONDIGAS SOUP 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. oil
12 c. beef broth
1 c. tomato sacue

Combine beef, pork, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper and blend well. Roll into small balls. Wilt onion and garlic in oil, in a large Dutch oven, add beef broth and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, and drop meatballs into boiling broth. Cover and cook until balls are done. Do taste test. Peas or sliced carrots may be added, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips or warm tortillas and butter.
