CHEESEBURGER PIE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. minced onion 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 3/4 tsp. Italian seasoning 1 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste 4 Mozzarella cheese slices 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. water Brown ground beef in skillet. Drain off fat. Add onion, salt, pepper, 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning, and 1 can tomato paste. Place 8 triangles of rolls in ungreased 9 inch pan (pie or loaf) pressing pieces together, forming a crust. Turn meat mixture into crust and top with cheese slices. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. For sauce, combine 1 can tomato paste, butter, water, and 1/4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Heat to boiling and serve over pie. |
