1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. tomato ketchup
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. diced (sm.) dill pickles
1 c. diced Mozzarella cheese
10 sm. hamburger buns

Brown meat and onion in shortening. Drain. Stir in pickles, ketchup, salt and pepper. Cook 10 minutes. Now add cheese, mix and spoon 1/2 cup of mixture on each bun. Double wrap each bun in foil, put on cookie sheet and heat in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serve warm or let cool and freeze to reheat in microwave.
