PRUNE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten slightly
3 tbsp. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg, allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon & cloves
1 c. mashed prunes & some juice

Cream sugar, butter, eggs and sour cream together. Sift soda, flour, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and cloves together. Pour 2 mixtures together and add prunes and juice. Mix well.

Pour into a well oiled and floured tube pan. Bake from 55 minutes to 1 hour in a 350 degree oven.

FILLING:

2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. mashed prunes

Cook on low heat until thick. Pour over cake.
