MINTED MELON 
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. chopped mint leaves (or 2 tsp. mint extract)
Juice of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 orange
2 cantaloupes, cut in balls
1 honeydew, cut in balls

Boil water and sugar for 5 minutes. Pour syrup over mint leaves (or add mint extract) and cool. Strain and add lemon and orange juice. Chill. When ready to serve, pour over melon balls. Serves 6.
