BEEF AND VERMOUTH 
2 lb. beef, cut as for stew
2 c. cream of mushroom soup
1/2 env. French onion soup mix
3/4 c. dry vermouth

Place uncooked meat in large casserole. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over meat. Bake covered in 325 degree oven about 3 hours. Serve over noodles or rice.
