FAJITA RICE | |
1/2 lb. flank steak, cut into thin strips 1 med. onion, sliced 1 med. green pepper, sliced 1 med. red pepper, sliced 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. oil 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. line juice 1 to 2 tsp. hot pepper sauce 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1 1/2 c. cooked rice 1. Cook and stir meat, onion, green and red peppers and garlic powder in hot oil in a large skillet until browned. Add water, lime juice, hot pepper sauce and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes. 2. Prepare rice as directed on package. 3. Serve meat mixture over rice. Makes 4 servings. You can cut the flank steak into very thin slices if it is partly frozen. |
