FRUIT SALAD, PHILIPPINE STYLE 
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 (14 oz.) cans fruit cocktail, drained
1 (14 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 (14 oz.) can lychees, drained
1 c. preserved macapune balls (sold in oriental stores)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. unsalted chopped almonds
1 1/2 c. fresh cubed apples, optional

Mix heavy cream and cheese together to a smooth sauce like consistency. Combine with all of the other ingredients and blend well. Chill overnight and serve.
