STREUSEL PEAR PIE 
4 lg. pears
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1 (9") unbaked pie shell

Core and dice pears. Toss with sugar, 1/3 cup flour, lemon peel and nutmeg. Combine brown sugar, pecans and 1/3 cup flour. Cut in butter. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of brown sugar mixture over bottom of pie shell. Add pear mixture. Top with remaining sugar mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
