1 c. dark Karo syrup (boiled and cooled)
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp. cream
1 tsp. baking soda in a couple spoons warm coffee
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cardamom
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
4 c. flour

Make night before and cool. Roll out and use cookie press, gingerbread man, stars, etc.
