HOMEMADE VEGETABLE SOUP 
3 lbs. stew beef
1 lb. hamburger meat
5 med. potatoes
3 carrots
1 piece celery
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. oregano
Salt and pepper
1 qt. soup mixture (okra, corn, tomatoes) you may substitute frozen vegetables of your choice
1 qt. tomatoes
2 c. cabbage, thinly cut

In pressure pot (or whatever pot you plan to use to cook beef), brown beef in small amount of cooking oil. Salt and pepper while browning. Pour off remaining fat. Add water to cover the beef. Cook until tender. Brown hamburger meat in frying pan, pour off any drippings from meat. Add to tender beef, the brown hamburger meat and all ingredients, except cabbage. Salt and pepper to taste as vegetables cook. When vegetables are almost tender, add cabbage and cook until done. Makes 8 quarts.
